Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah on Tuesday shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, remembering his late father. In the post, Bumrah shared an old picture of his father holding a newborn Jasprit.
Bumrah paid tribute to his dad, expressing that he now understands the profound depth of a father’s emotions after becoming a parent himself.
“Your void was always felt in our lives and since i have become a father myself i realised what a father’s emotion is and what i had missed in my life . As we remember you with happy memories i wish you were with us dad”, Bumrah wrote on post.
Notably, Bumrah’s father, Jasbir Singh, died when the pacer was 5 years old. He was brought up by his mother Daljit Bumrah, a school teacher in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
