Virat Kohli’s good luck message for Djokovic was shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in a video where Kohli spoke about his admiration for the tennis maestro. Kohli also shared an interesting anecdote about their initial contact, revealing that he spontaneously messaged Djokovic on Instagram, only to discover that Djokovic had already messaged him.
In response to Kohli’s wishes, Djokovic took to the social media platform ‘X’ to express his appreciation. The video featuring Kohli’s message had garnered widespread attention on social media.

In the video, Kohli detailed their first interaction, saying, “I got in touch with Novak very organically. I was just looking at his profile once on Instagram, and I just happened to press the message button. I thought I’ll just say hello, maybe.” Kohli went on to describe finding a message from Djokovic in his direct messages, initiating their friendship.
The camaraderie between the two athletes has grown, with regular exchanges of congratulatory messages on their respective achievements. Djokovic’s acknowledgment of Kohli’s well-wishes adds a touch of sportsmanship and camaraderie between these prominent figures in tennis and cricket.
