Riyan Parag is having an excellent season in the domestic circuit and he will want to replicate his form in IPL 2024 as he will be playing for Rajasthan Royals. Depite getting enough chances, Riyan Parag has not been able to prove his potential in the IPL and it is one of the reasons that he has not received his national team call yet. Recently, he smashed 155 off 87 deliveries in Assam’s first game against Chhattisgarh in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. His innings included 11 fours and 12 sixes.
Meanwhile, cricket expert Aakash Chopra has praised Riyan Parag’s form and he hopes that Rajasthan Royals (RR) give him enough opportunities to capitalize on and make his mark. Riyan Parag did not have an auspicious run in the past few seasons of the tournament and Rajasthan Royals has again retained his services for the IPL 2024 showing faith in the youngster’s ability.
“Whoever I have spoken to…and whatever I have seen in this season’s domestic circuit thus far…Riyan Parag’s form stands out. Really hope that he gets enough opportunities at RR this season and he makes a mark,” stated Aakash Chopra on his ‘X’.
