Indian Premier League (IPL) is a platform where young cricketers display their talent to mark their presence in the cricketing circuit. On May 21, 2009, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, he hit an undefeated 114* against the Deccan Chargers. The match concluded with Royal Challengers Bangalore winning. , he is the first Indian to smash ton in IPL.

Sanju Samson is the five youngest batter in the IPL century. He was a part of the Delhi Daredevils team in the 2017 Indian Premier League. At the age of 22 years and 151 days, he destroyed Rising Pune Supergiant’s bowling team by scoring 102 runs off 63 balls.
