Wow! When the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was scheduled to happen in Pakistan, we knew the drama would unfold. The BCCI has remained firm on their decision of not to go to Pakistan to play the mega ICC event. Instead, they have written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) to plan the tournament with a hybrid approach. Following this, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has threatened to take legal action to the ICC Dispute Resolution Committee and may also contemplate pulling out of the ICC Champions Trophy.

Taking to his Twitter, Latif wrote, “According to sources, the government of Pakistan may not allow PCB to participate in any ICC event (2024-2031) if India does not participate in the ICC Champions Trophy or the Champions Trophy will be moved out from Pakistan.”
