Pakistan tormentor Virender Sehwag will be facing off with the trio of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar once again, albeit in the commentary box this time, at the ILT20. The tournament revealed the commentary panel recently, and uploaded a video, where the Indian legend, and the Pakistanis are engaging in a banter.
It all started when Akhtar called Sehwag ‘a gentle off-spinner’. Akhtar added, “Don’t be afraid, Veeru. The last time the three of us (Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar) were playing, you were cleaning your spectacles on the field.”
To this, Sehwag said, “I wear contact lenses now… to look at your beautiful face.” Sehwag, looking at the commentary team added, “Are there only bowlers allowed in this commentary panel? No worries, tum sabke liye mai akela hi kaafi hoon (For you guys, I’m enough).”
