India is gearing up to face Afghanistan in their last T20I series before the T20 World Cup, commencing on January 11 (Thursday) at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. The IND vs AFG 1st T20I marks the return of seasoned players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to the T20I side after an absence of more than a year.
The IND vs AFG 1st T20I Live Streaming will be available on JioCinema. Sports18 however is set to broadcast the match live for Indian audiences.

The last T20I game involving both Virat and Rohit was the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup second semifinal against England at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. Since then, the Men in Blue have played T20I cricket without this dynamic duo. Rohit Sharma is back as the captain in the absence of the currently unfit Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav.
The squad announcement for India brought several surprises, as KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer were not included in the 15-member squad, and Ishan Kishan opted out.
Afghanistan, coming off a 2-1 series win over UAE, aims to maintain their winning momentum in India. The team will be led by stand-in skipper Ibrahim Zadran, while Rashid Khan, though added to the squad, is unlikely to play due to his ongoing recovery from back surgery.
