PUBG Mobile is working towards providing better gaming experience. To do so, the anti-cheat system of the game is keep banning the accounts from the battlefield. In a recent announcement, devs revealed that they have permanently banned a staggering 31,191 accounts and 5,002 devices. The action took place between December 29, 2023, and January 4, 2024.
The banned accounts were found to be engaging in various forms of cheating, including:
Using hacks and mods: These unauthorized programs grant players unfair advantages, such as wallhacks, aimbots, and unlimited health.
Teaming up with enemies: Players are not allowed to collaborate with players from opposing teams, as this gives them an unfair advantage and ruins the competitive integrity of the game.
Verbal abuse and harassment: PUBG Mobile has a zero-tolerance policy for toxic behavior, and players who engage in verbal abuse or harassment will face consequences.
The developers expressed their gratitude to players for their reports and continuous support in helping to clean up the game. They also encouraged players to continue reporting any suspicious activity they encounter, as this helps them identify and ban cheaters more effectively.
This is not the first time PUBG Mobile has taken action against cheaters. The game has a dedicated anti-cheat team that is constantly working to detect and ban cheaters. They also regularly update their anti-cheat system to stay ahead of the latest cheating methods.
