Parag was struggling with bad form in 2023 as he failed miserably in the previous Indian Premier League.

Parag had scored just 78 runs in seven matches of IPL 2023.

The Assam skipper’s knock was studded with seven boundaries and seven sixes, with Parag striking at over 150.
Assam collapsed in their 1st innings in response to Chhattisgarh’s mammoth 327 run total. With follow-on enforced, Parag led from the front, powering his side to get the lead in the 2nd innings.
