And with that, India Cricket Team registered a shambolic World Record in SA vs IND 2nd Test in Cape Town. India lost their last six wickets for naught and six batters were dismissed for ducks. Rohit Sharma (39), Shubman Gill (36) and Virat Kohli (46) were the only Indian batters to score in double digits.
Lungi Ngidi was the wrecker-in-chief as his sixth over made all the difference. Ngidi first dimissed KL Rahul who was batting on 8. The Protean pacer generated extra bounce and KL Rahul edge it to Kyle Verreynne.
With Jadeja surviving the first ball, he departed on the second delivery with Ngidi bowled a bouncer and the Indian all-rounder had no answer. From 153/3, India were down to 153/5. Jasprit Bumrah was the next to go after surviving the first ball.
With Kagiso Rabada returning in the second over, he dismissed Virat Kohli and Prasidh Krishna with Mohammed Siraj in between. India went from 153/4 to 153 all out in a span of 11 deliveries.
