The India Cricket Team will be raring to go hard at the Proteas in the IND vs SA 2nd Test. Ahead of the New Year’s Test, former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar has pointed out a couple of changes that would work best in favour of the visitors.
Team India were humiliated and handed an innings defeat with 32 runs in the first Test. While South Africa still remains unconquered, India will get a chance to level the series in the Fortress Newlands.

Taking to official broadcasters Star Sports, Sunil Gavaskar pointed out 2 changes in the Playing XI from the 1st Test. India needs to win the IND vs SA 2nd Test at all costs to go up the standings in the WTC Points Table.
“The Playing XI would be not too many changes. Jadeja once he is fit will walk back in the team at the expense of Ravichandran Ashwin. Ravi Ashwin was hardly used in the previous game. There could also be a change in terms of the new ball bowling with Mukesh Kumar coming in place of Prasidh Krishna,” said Sunil Gavaskar.
Former Indian star Irfan Pathan too gave out his predictions for the change. “One more change would be to include either Mukesh Kumar or Avesh Khan in place of Prasidh Krishna,”
