A bizarre scenes unfolded in the United States of America (USA) on Saturday as an official called up cops to get the umpires arrested for not taking the field in American Premier League (APL).
The incident happened in Houston, Texas. Ahead of the T20 game, the umpires refused to take the field claiming they were not paid by the official.
Umpires claimed that they were owed close to $30,000 by the tournament organisers.
The whole bizarre incident was caught on tape and soon went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, the USA national team will take part in the T20 World Cup set to be played in USA and West Indies in June.
Notably, USA earned automatic entry by dint of being hosts and will play in the tournament for the first time.
