Patna Pirates, the most successful franchise in the history of Pro Kabaddi League has thrown many surprises with their PKL 11 retention list. Patna has won the PKL title thrice thanks to star raiders like Pardeep Narwal. Sachin Tanwar’s name also comes in this list, whose last season was very good.
Despite a good season, they have let go of him and retained the likes of M Sudhakar and Sandeep Kumar in the raiding department. Both were secondary raiders but have got the nod ahead of their Sachin.
The 25-year-old has been one of the consistent performers in the league and season 10 saw him excel in do-or-die raids fishing the team out of troubled waters more often than not. The surprises existed in the defensive department as well with the release of Krishan Dhull.
