The last encounter between the two teams in the ODI format took place during the 2022 World Cup in New Zealand, where Australia comfortably clinched a six-wicket victory while chasing a target of 278.

As the teams face off in the upcoming series, India aims to improve its ODI record and build on the momentum gained from the recent Test success.
