English batter Phil Salt slammed the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 snub by featuring in second place in the latest ICC T20I ranking. He achieved his career-best rank on Wednesday.
Salt was released by Delhi Capitals (DC) before the auction and went unsold in the recent auction. He has played nine matches and scored 218 runs. He also bagged two fifties last season.

With a career-high rating of 802, the England opener moved up eighteen places after scoring 119 and 38 in Trinidad. He was 15 rating points ahead of Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan in third place (787).
Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has maintained his position at the top of the T20I ranking with 887 points.
