The UEFA Euro 2024 Quarterfinals are almost set. 4 of the teams competing in the Euro 2024 Round of 16 have already booked their place in the final eight. The quarterfinals will begin on 5th July with joint three-time European Champions Spain taking on hosts Germany at Stuttgart.
England, Germany qualified for Euro 2024 Quarterfinals
As we are approaching the Euro 2024 quarterfinals, some of the European powerhouses have already made their way. Gareth Southgate’s England came from behind to edge past Slovenia. Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham came to the rescue of the Three Lions after Slovenia almost held them for 95 minutes. Spain on the other hand spewed a thrilling 4-1 win to book their quarterfinal spot.
Host Germany claimed a deserving 2-0 win over Denmark with Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz finding the net. However, Switzerland pulled off the upset of the tournament, as they ousted defending champions Italy with a 2-0 win.
Euro 2024 Quarterfinals draw
Two of the four Euro 2024 quarterfinal ties have been set. Three-time champions Spain are set to take on hosts Germany on 5th July and Stuttgart. While Gareth Southgate’s England will take on giant-killers Switzerland in Dusseldorf the next day.
