India T20 World Cup 2024 Celebrations: Virat Kohli’s childhood coach speaks on T20I retirement

India on Saturday snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to win the T20 World Cup 2024. In the final against Aiden Markram’s South Africa, India successfully defended 176 runs to bring home an ICC trophy after 11 years. The victory is marked by celebrations all around the world. From people taking to the streets and chanting ‘India, India’ to sportspersons taking to social media to express their happiness, this victory has been made extremely special. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja has also announced his retirement from T20Is following Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s suit.

Right after India’s win, several former and present cricketers took to social media to express their happiness and gratitude to Rohit Sharma and co. Among them was Sachin Tendulkar, who posted on X right after India’s win.
