Will win today: RCB fans ecstatic as Glenn Maxwell dropped from Playing XI vs SRH

Royal Challengers Bengaluru batsman Glenn Maxwell has been a big disappointment. He had failed tremendously in the IPL 2024, scoring just 32 runs in six innings with a strike rate of 94.12. Following his poor run, Maxwell was dropped from the starting 11 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the fourth home game of the season.

Fans are exhilarated by Glenn Maxwell’s exclusion

Many on social media were glad with the decision. Many said RCB would win today. Others pointed to the fact that this is the costliest bench strength, with Cameron Green, Glenn Maxwell, and Alzarri Joseph on the bench. Some expressed their shock over Maxwell’s exclusion. Some also commented on the happiness of Royal Challengers Bengaluru‘s fans over the exclusion of the star batsman.

RCB’s three most expensive overseas players were on the bench. Cameron Green was signed for 17.5 crores, Glenn Maxwell was signed for 14.25 crores, and Alzarri Joseph was signed for 11.5 crores.
